What is inside

The casino opened on July 26, 2021, and the 275-room hotel followed on January 16, 2023. The floor has 2,200+ slot machines alongside 90+ live tables and 50+ electronic table games. Poker is played at 18 tables, up on the hotel's third floor. The resort also has The Arena, a 2,500-seat theatre and event space.

Sun Sui Wah, Rock House Grill, Casual and Copperhorn Meet House are among the places to eat. Zio's in The District, Sun Express, M Chá Bar and Starbucks round out the list.

Closer to City Hall, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto at Woodbine is the casino inside the city, at 18.9 km. It shows 4,500+ slot machines and e-tables and 164 table games. You can use the Great Canadian Rewards card at both, and each wants a secondary photo ID as well as an original government photo ID.

Getting there from Toronto

Without a car, book the Casino Shuttle. It runs daily by reservation, for riders 19+, at $10 cash for a return trip. Reservations open 48 hours before and close at 8 PM the night before, as for Woodbine.

Pick-ups begin at Apple Markville Plaza, Bullock Drive, at 9:00 AM, 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM. The bus then stops on Redlea Avenue near the Milliken GO Station parking at 9:15 AM, 11:45 AM or 2:15 PM. Last comes the YMCA entrance at Borough Drive and Town Centre Court, near Scarborough Town Centre: 9:35 AM, 12:05 PM, 2:35 PM. Return runs leave at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:15 PM.

On transit, take the Lakeshore East GO line to Pickering GO, then DRT route 917 along Bayly Street. It runs every 30 minutes; the nearest stops are Bayly Westbound @ Church and Bayly Eastbound @ Church. Parking is free, in a garage and an outdoor lot.
