Woodbine: thoroughbreds

Woodbine Racetrack is a thoroughbred track. Woodbine Entertainment operates it. The track sits in Etobicoke, next to Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto. It opened on June 12, 1956, long before Casino Woodbine arrived beside it in 1999.
You can get there without a car. All day, every day, TTC bus 37A heads out from Islington Station (Line 2 Bloor-Danforth) along Rexdale Blvd. You get off at Woodbine Racetrack Loop (Main Entrance). Late at night, the 336 Finch West Blue Night runs between Finch Station and Woodbine Race Track, seven days a week.
