Keep yourself out
My PlayBreak lets you pick a term, either 3 or 6 months or anywhere from 1 to 5 years, and Ontario casinos will then turn you away. You can start it with casino staff, at a PlaySmart Centre, or by calling the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098. Choose the term with care. Once it starts, it cannot be cancelled early.
BetGuard, at betguard.ca, covers the online side. It shuts you out of all regulated gambling sites in Ontario, including OLG.ca, for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years, or a custom length. The tool is operated by iGaming Ontario. The list of regulated sites is at igamingontario.ca. BetGuard does not reach land-based casinos, so keeping out of both means setting up both tools.
